Coco Summary, written in Comprehensible Spanish for level 2, 3 or 4.

If you're looking to use the Pixar movie Coco, and you'd like to give your students lots of rich comprehensible input, this Coco movie summary is for you! This summary is divided into four parts and includes all the most important parts of the movie, written in comprehensible Spanish appropriate for Level 2+ students. It is written in Past tense with plenty of past subjunctive thrown in naturally.

I like to have my students watch the movie over 4 class periods. Each class we review what they've previously watched (in slow, comprehensible Spanish, of course), then watch the next part (time stamps included on the summary to make this easy for you!). Afterwards, students read the summary and as students read, they circle the correct word in the parenthesis to demonstrate their reading comprehension. To further demonstrate their reading comprehension, students can illustrate what they've read on the storyboard, copied on the back. An answer key is included.
