Description

Increase student motivation while enhancing the overall learning environment with these amazing classroom scratcher cards. Each card includes a detailed instructions page that will guide teachers through making their own reusable classroom lottery scratchers. Scratcher stickers can be purchased from Amazon. Simply print and fill out the scratcher cards, cover the white circles with 1" circle scratch-off stickers, and use them as classroom rewards. Additionally, if the cards are laminated before applying the scratch-off stickers they can easily be reused year after year.

If you have a classroom economy where students earn classroom money and spend the money at the store, this would be a great item to include in the store. Prizes can be anything from classroom dollars, to pieces of candy, to free test questions and more.

What's Included:

Five different scratcher card templates with detailed instructions on how to fill them out before applying the scratcher stickers.

  1. WIN IT ALL: This is a classic scratcher game where the player is given a set of winning numbers (about 2-4 different numbers) and then they have 5 different attempts to scratch off a number that matches one of the winning numbers. If a matching number is scratched off, the player wins the prize.
  2. ROYAL FLUSH: A poker-based scratcher game. The prize is revealed by scratching off a sticker at the top of the card. The player is given a five-card poker hand that can be scratched off (one card at a time) in hopes of making a pair or better. If a pair is made, the prize is won. If the poker hand is better than just a pair (such as a three-of-a-kind or full house) then the prize is multiplied by X2, X3, X4, or X5 depending on how good the hand was.
  3. 1st AND 10: A football-based scratcher card. An opponent's score along with a potential prize is revealed by scratching off the sticker at the top of the card. The player will have five scoring drives (each covered by a scratch-off sticker) to try and beat their opponent's score. If the score is tied, the player gets a new scratcher card. If the player gets a higher score than their opponent (after combining all five scoring drives), they win the prize.
  4. GOLDEN EQUATIONS: This scratcher card would work best in middle-high school math classes where students have been introduced to basic equation solving. The player begins by scratching off the answer to an algebra equation (example: x=2) as well as a potential prize. Next, the player will scratch off five different algebra equations in hopes of finding one where the answer will match up with the given answer at the top of the card. If there is an equation that matches the answer, the card is a winner.
  5. FRACTION FRENZY: This scratcher card would work best in classes where students have a general understanding of fractions and their equivalents. The player begins by scratching off a specific fraction (example: 4/5). Then the player will have five opportunities to scratch off an equivalent fraction or decimal to the given fraction at the top of the card. Under each potential equivalent value is a different prize. If the player finds a match (example: If 4/5 was the given fraction a the top, a potential match could be 0.8) then the card is a winner for the prize scratched off under the matching value.
