Description

This is a classroom behavior system I came up with after piecing different ideas together. The general idea of this is to get students using real-world skills such as writing checks, earning a paycheck, depositing and withdrawing money, and filling out a checkbook register. Each student has a job, which they must apply for by filling out an application, around the classroom and gets paid monthly. Throughout the month, they can earn money for various things such as being present, completing all homework, doing well on tests, and receiving compliments. They can also lose money for forgetting materials, not having homework, or being disrespectful. They use their money to buy items in my class store. They can also save up to buy a condo so they don't have to pay monthly rent. Included are websites with enrichment projects they can complete to earn money. It has been highly effective and I have received a lot of positive feedback for it.
