Description
In student teaching, I learned that the behaviors you focus on are what increase in your classroom. If you want positive behaviors in your classroom, you need to encourage them when you see them in your students. These systems are incredibly easy for teachers to set up - no matter how long you've been in the classroom!
PBIS Pals
Tired of clip charts and looking for a PBIS system your students will love? Check out the PBIS Pals! They are stuffed animals that are given when a student meets expectations. Students who follow these expectations get to have an animal on their desk for the day. The kids never know who will be chosen, so they always need to be following the rules! My students are very motivated by these special friends and I know yours will be too!
PARTNER CARDS
It was breaking my heart to watch my students wandering around the room trying not to cry when I said, "Please find a partner." So I created these cards! Now they are loved by thousands of teachers who have the same goal of including every student in their classroom.
These partnership cards make it quick and easy to set up differentiated small group work, and they're perfect for kids of all abilities. The best part is that they don't have to guess who their partner is, it's right on the card (which means less work for you!) Just print, laminate, and cut out the cards - then let your students find their partners.
This is a great way to promote classroom inclusion and make sure everyone is feeling connected. You can use them to create class games, cooperative learning activities, ready buddies, and more! There are 26 pairings (52 cards!)
FAST FINISHERS: KETCHUP, MUST DO, PICK ONE, MAY DO
Teach your students to prioritize and complete missing assignments with these fun fast finisher activities!
How I use this in my classroom:
On my whiteboard, I write down the assignments I would like students to finish.
1. Must-Do Assignments (Mustard Bottle)
2. Catch Up on Work (Ketchup Bottle)
3. Pick One Extension Activity (Pickle)
4. May Do (Mayo Jar)
Must-Do assignments are the work that needs to be completed during that day or class period. If students do not finish an assignment in class they put it in their "Ketchup" folder (folder cover included in this product.) If they turn in an incomplete assignment, I staple a "Ketchup Packet" on the assignment to let the student know they need to complete it before they choose a pickle or mayo activity.
Everything in this bundle includes printer-friendly black and white and color options.
