Classroom Magazine

This assignment is the perfect enrichment activity, especially for advanced or honors courses. It is project-based and student-led! The project is designed to simulate a real magazine company, with the students taking the roles of chief editors, editors, and writing staff. Students are required to communicate with each other, make decisions together, and to create several different types of writing. Students will actually create a professionally printed magazine using design software of the teacher's choice that the students can be proud of. This assignment is aligned to the Common Core, and hits all of the writing standards. It can last as long as the teacher wants. The documents are totally editable!
