Spanish Classroom Commands Mini-Lesson Plan: Spanish 1 Preliminary Lessons
Objectives
- Learn basic classroom commands in Spanish.
- Learn other useful phrases that students can use to ask questions and follow instructions in Spanish.
The 50 vocabulary words and phrases for this lesson have been divided into three sections:
• Performing Actions
• Following Instructions
• Asking for Help Phrases

Presentations: The teacher uses the three illustrated PDF presentations provided to
present the vocabulary to the students. These presentations can be uploaded to the class website for the students to study at home.
Classroom Signs: These presentations were created in 8.5” x 11” size so they can be
individually printed out and laminated to use as classroom signs.
Posters: The illustrations are also available in different size posters to display in class. Sizes: Legal (8.5” x 14”) and Tabloid (11” x 17”).
Handouts:
• Printable vocabulary list with English translations.
• There are also three printable handouts (8.5” x 11”) for the students with all the
illustrations and phrases.
Everything mentioned above is linked through the lesson plan and presentation slides for you to create your own copies.
