Description

This SMARTBoard presentation is the fourth of five lessons in a unit titled, "Classifying Matter", which includes the lessons, "What Are Elements?", "What Are Compounds?", "What Are Mixtures and Solutions?", "How Can Substances Be Described?", and "How Do Substances Interact?". The first two lessons are presented in PowerPoint format. The last three lessons are designed for the SMARTBoard using Notebook software. These are all based upon information from the fifth grade Scott Foresman Science textbook. This fourth lesson contains eleven SMARTBoard slides that present students with information about physical properties and physical changes. This PowerPoint presentation, as well as the other lessons in the series, were designed by Marie Wimsett.
