    Description

    These original and engaging reader's theatre scripts are designed to accommodate up to 33 students, allowing each of them to read and act a role at their own reading level. Each play is specifically tailored for three to five actors who possess different reading abilities.
    Within each play, one character is assigned to read CVC words and sight words, while at least one other character takes on the challenge of words with long vowels, blends, and digraphs. This ensures that every actor has an opportunity to improve their reading skills using the science of reading while immersing themselves in the story.
    The collection comprises seven original plays perfect for first grade reader's theater: Pup's Pet Kid, The Flat Tire, The Fair Game, Pup in Class, A Gift for Fox, The Camping Trip, The Cake Contest, and The Swim Class. Each play is accompanied by a printable script for all actors, along with highlighted versions and sight word sheets.
    By offering differentiated roles and incorporating essential reading elements, these plays create a dynamic and inclusive learning experience for students with varying reading abilities.
