Class Assembly - The 6 wives of Henry VIII - Ages 8-11 - duration 20 mins+

A humorous look at Henry and his six wives. The focus is upon entertainment (of the school/parents) although there is plenty of educational information behind the jokes.

This is a word document including a list of characters, a narration framework and 7 separate scenes. In all there are 24 roles within the assembly but this may be increased or decreased by splitting or combining pieces of narration or having different children play the same character in different scenes. Works well with an accompanying Powerpoint display behind the stage linked to the performance. I cannot share mine as several of the images are copyright. You will find cues in the script suggesting slide timing/content. Duration: Approx 20 minutes.

Note: Make sure Anne of Cleves is played by a boy!
