Clara Barton - Bilingual Biography Activity Bundle - Women's History

Are you looking for some activities for Women’s History Month?  Are you wanting to focus on the biography genre?  Do you need a lesson that you can leave for a substitute?  This lesson could be perfect for you.  You can use this in a whole-class setting, guided reading groups, independent work, or literacy centers. The passage is appropriate for 1st to 4th grades and could be used with older language learners.  (I have personally used them in my adult classes).  Check below as I have both English and Spanish versions available which could be used in your Spanish, dual-language, ESL, or immersion classes. 

This bundle includes both of our English and Spanish Biography Reading Comprehension Bundles. You will receive a presentation for Google Slides that is 12 pages long as well as a pdf printable version for each language. 

Each version includes a page-long reading comprehension passage on Clara Barton, a vocabulary fill-in-the-blank activity, comprehension questions, and a writing prompt.  There is a graphic organizer for brainstorming the writing prompt and a writing paper for the final draft.
