Civil War Website Project

This is a project that students will complete about the Civil War. It focuses on the use of Google Sites to create a collaborate class website about a variety of topics (list included) about the Civil War. This is designed for students to work on the website as a class where each student will complete a portion of the topics listed. However, the topic list and directions can easily be modified by the teacher as needed. A rubric is also included to score students, but this can also be modified as need be. Students could also make their own websites instead of doing one as a class. This is designed for high school students, but could be adapted for younger or older students. While teacher adaptations and student needs will impact the amount of time it takes to do this project, I would recommend one week of work time and one week to present.
