Civil Rights Movement Lesson - Stations, Lecture, and Activities
- Zip
Description
This lesson is easy to adapt and differentiate to your students! The lesson covers the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and 1970s by focusing on women, LGBTQ, African Americans, Native Americans, and Latinos. It includes stations (but can easily turn into a gallery walk) and a chart for students to fill it, but you can also use the included lecture and outline notes. You - and your students - have the choice on how to learn this important content.
All documents are fully editable and also available as a PDF. I have also included a key as well as a resource and extension activity page with other lesson ideas, a screencast video of me talking through the lecture, a Quizlet, and a Google Form to use as an assessment or comprehension activity. This lesson can easily transition to a traditional classroom, a sub plan, or an online lesson during distance learning.
My students love this content, and I hope yours will too and that this resource will save you time and energy.
