Civil Rights Leaders: 4 Civil Rights Leaders who Influenced American Society is an engaging project to use during Black History Month or as part of your Civil Rights Unit of Study.
This resource will help students create a pop-up book of 4 historic civil rights leaders including Martin Luther King Jr., Thurgood Marshall, Rosa Parks, and Ruby Bridges.
This Civil Rights resource offers three options for classroom use:
* mini research project on 4 Civil Rights Leaders
* small group project where each student chooses a Civil Rights Leader to research
* or use as an informational resource where students use the mini biographical sketch of each Civil Rights Leader.
Students will cut and paste the names, pictures, and short biographical sketch in a pop-up format.
Each student will need 2 pieces of colored card stock, scissors and a glue stick.
