This activity was great to help students apply what we had learned over the voting rights and civil rights acts. They used it as homework and came back to have some really good in class discussions.
By the time I get to the 1960's and 1970's units, I always feel rushed. This activity helped me present the content in a way that I am confident my students could comprehend.
Description
Great handout pinpointing the information and differences between the two with readings and graphic organizers. Handout can be split up between individual work and group work with a closing discussion or writing prompt question.
