Description

Lesson Objective: Students will learn to weave textual evidence / quotes using the I.C.E method with Subordinating Conjunctions. Lesson reviews complex sentence structure that include subordinating conjunctions, dependent clauses, and independent clauses. The text embedded in the lesson is taken from S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders. Also, as a bonus, there are cloze-notes for special accommodations, as well as, a musical inspired game for the students to practice identifying subordinating conjunctions and dependent clauses. If you are interested in a Google slide version that includes Pear Deck add-ons, send me an email after purchasing.
