Description

Way Up High On The Apple Tree This is a fun circle time song that is interactive and can be secured to a folder to create a simple and easy song activity that is easy to store. Have the children take the apple on the apple tree. Then they can secure this number to the rebus lyric page to sing along. Great for working on counting and beginning subtraction skills.

This is a favorite children’s rhyme.

I use this rhyme for a variety of students from students

• Preschool, kindergarten, and first graders as part of a poem choice

• Fluency cases to practice smooth speech

• Students who need visual supports including students on the autism spectrum, students with attention deficit, students with cognitive difficulties, and students with speech or language difficulties.

This is such a simple rhyme it is one that I put in a folder so that it is easily transported and stored.

I attach the tree to one part of the folder and the numbers on the other. I put the apples on the tree so as they child says they shake the tree they can take an apple off the tree.

I laminate and put the song card in the folder unattached so that it can pull it out easily.
