*Please note that all instructions in this resource are written in English.
There are THREE POSTER OPTIONS included–choose what works best for you and your students. All options are easy!
Each student is given one page of the poster to color. Once all sheets are colored and cut out, they are then assembled to reveal a large collaborative mosaic/poster/mural.
Poster Details:
- 30 pieces
- Each piece fits on 8.5" x 11" standard copy paper
- Final poster makes a 6x5 grid
- Final size is approximately 45" wide by 37" tall (the exact size will depend on your printer settings)
POSTER OPTIONS INCLUDED:
Poster option #1: This poster is in English and the colors have been assigned. Students will follow the colors assigned using a color key on each page. You will need crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers in light blue, blue, red, yellow, green, pink, purple, grey, and black.
Poster option #2: This poster is in English and the colors have NOT been assigned. Let your students color the poster whatever colors they want (or that you assign).
Poster option #3: The poster has the pages with the color key in Spanish and colors have been assigned. Students will follow the colors assigned using a color key on each page. You will need crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers in light blue, blue, red, yellow, green, pink, purple, grey, and black.

Versatile!
Want to use this poster other times of the year to celebrate Mexican American heritage, not only for Cinco de Mayo? If so, simply replace pieces C1, C2, D1, and D2 with the replacement pieces I have provided in this resource.
Bonus Coloring Page
Group collaboration posters are a lot of fun and leave a lasting impression. However, students don’t get to walk away with anything tangible to show their families. I have included a bonus 1-page coloring sheet from my Cinco de Mayo coloring pages for your students to have. This is also very useful for early finishers.
