Christmas Technology Projects - Presentation & Internet Research Skills

This is a perfect resource for the start of a Christmas Internet Research project before moving onto Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint. This resource develops students’ skills to research the internet effectively to find facts about Christmas. Make your students really understand what they are Googling.

How To Use:

1. Use the internet research task sheet to encourage students to research about Christmas. Students will need to use the advanced search facility of Internet Search Engines to find answers to a variety of different questions and scenarios. They will then need to compare the results they obtained from search engine to those obtained in other search engines.
2. The research gathered should be used by students to create a presentation in either Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint which fits a project scenario and fits the intended purpose and target audience.
3. Prior to creating the presentation, students will need to use the supplied Project Planning booklet to determine how to layout components on each slide. A considerable number of worksheets are provided in this booklet, starting with a project scenario.
4. Students are informed of the slides they need to create and the information/components required for them.
