Looking for a fun Christmas activity for middles school? This fun holiday activity students will use their budgeting and financial literacy skills to show their understanding of decimal operations. Students will be adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals to solve various problems.
Santa needs your students help to complete his Christmas list. Your students are given a budget and must browse local flyers to purchase gifts for family, friends or anyone else who would love a gift from Santa. In addition, they will calculate sales tax on the items and answer mathematical questions.
