Each page is filled with a few paragraphs about a Christmas symbol and is focused on an ELA standard. The standards addressed in this packet are: RI.1 (Questions), RI.2 (Main Idea), RI. 4 (Word Meaning), and or RI. 6 (Author's Purpose).

A bonus "Christmas Questions" is attached. This sheet can be used to further your students' inquiry and knowledge of each Christmas symbol.
