Christmas Play Reader's Theater: The Elves who Lost the Toys

This is a 6 page, 6 part original reader's theater script. The elves have been working hard to get all the toys ready. Suddenly on the morning of Christmas Eve all the toys are gone. Where are they? Will they find them in time?

The script is written with primary students in mind and contains parts for Transitional to Fluent readers as follows:

o Transitional (roughly levels 10-12): Elf 2, Elf 3

o High Transitional (roughly levels 14-18): Elf 1, Missing Clause, Santa

o Fluent (roughly levels 20+): narrator

Also includes full page, color images of each character which students can use to make hats or neck signs to identify their part to the audience.
