Christmas : Bright Wishes - Art Lesson Plan

Here is a Christmas project that leaves a lot of place for creativity from the students.

You will be working with symmetry and patterns.

Your students can even add wishes inside of their light bulbs.

This project takes 4 periods.

A magnificent project working with engravable aluminium.

• Junior Hugh and High School

Technique:

• Drawing
• Engraving

Visual Language:

Materials:

• Engravable metal (1/2 sheet per student)
• Pencil
• Eraser
• White sheets (photocopy paper)
• Scissors
• Glue
• Magazines or newspapers
• Dry pastels and white chalk

• 3 pages of pictures of light bulbs, etc.
