Choose 3: Community Builder Activity or Ice Breaker

This is an engaging community builder activity that is great for back to school days, party days, or indoor recess. Students will be prompted to choose 3 objects from the backpack, desk, or self and place them on their desk. Then they will read a scenario on the slide posted and have to choose one of their three objects that would best help them solve the problem given on the slide. Students will then have 10 seconds to hold up the object that the chose.

You can extend this activity by having students explain their choice in whole group, small groups, or partners. You can also use this as a writing activity.

Regardless of how you choose to use this activity, your students will have fun!
