Description

This novel study of Child of the Dream includes chapter comprehension questions and a final writing assignment. Each chapter has comprehension questions that include inferences and perspective taking along with more shallow questions. This book is perfect to read during Black History Month, Martin Luther King Jr. Day., Civil Rights Units, or during a memoir unit. Sharon Robinson tells a wonderful story of her life during the Civil Rights Movement. The final writing assignment requires students to research an issue in their community and write to a local government official.
