    Description

Engage your students in character-building discussions, and allow students to reflect on issues they are having in school and at home. Guide your students into an understanding of what each character trait is, and how to exhibit that trait. Help your students become more aware of the importance of having good character, and what to do when someone else is not showing the qualities of that character trait.

Gather in your whole group circle first thing in the morning to start the day off right and guide daily choices and actions in a thoughtful, caring direction OR end your day with discussions around what went on during the day, to reflect on what could be done differently the next day. You could even do a combination of both!

For students who like to process on their own, there are written reflection pages, too.

Also included in this bundle is a set of restorative questions. There may be times when your character trait discussions may need to turn into a restorative circle when issues arise and some harm has been done. The restorative questions will help guide your students through the process of repairing that harm.

This YEARLONG BUNDLE contains 9 character trait resources.

Below is a list of all of the traits that are included in this bundle. Teach them in the order listed here, or in any order that you choose.

    It's Editable!

This resource includes an editable page in both color and black and white. This way you have the option to make the discussion questions and scenarios a little more personal to your teaching style or needs based on the groups of students you have from year to year. Please note that the fonts are the same, but there is only one font size per box, so you may need to adjust the number of characters you use as needed. The editable templates will be very similar, but may not be exactly identical.

    It Can Be Digital!

This resource comes as a PDF document, but can also be used digitally through Google Classroom and Easel. Just click the red 'Open TPT Digital Activity' button to get started!
