Character Education Bible Lessons

This is a BUNDLE of all 7 Biblical Character Education Units from Poet Prints Teaching. This bundle includes Kindness & Empathy, Courage, Contentment, Honesty, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Forgiveness. These have been designed for students in first, second, and third grade and are perfect for schools and churches!

All 7 character education bible units follow the same structure to provide continuity for younger students and less prep time for teachers.

• Teaching Guides: a detailed overview, class-by-class suggested pacing guide, instructions for every lesson and activity
• Watercolor Posters: 7 full-page watercolor posters of NIV Bible verses and key definitions.
• Introduction: A simple introductory page where the character trait is introduced and defined.
• Bible Exploration: a teacher-led sword drill activity and a worksheet to allow students the chance to hunt through their bibles for verses about the character trait (also includes NIV printouts of the verses in case a class set of Bibles is not available to you).
• Story: A bible story, follow-up activities (crafts, worksheet, game) and follow-up questions.
• Role Play: 6 role-play cards to help students think critically about age-appropriate situations that may require each character trait.
• Journals: Two journal prompts and options for journalling paper
• Crafts and Activities - 1 or 2 crafts and activities about each trait.
• Coloring: Two coloring pages with Bible verses found in the unit. These can be used for early finishers or as a take-home activity to help explain this character trait to parents and caregivers.
• Bulletin Board Display: A reflective group lesson that can be assembled into a display for a bulletin board.
