What educators are saying

This was a great resource to use with my 8th graders for review. I used it during a formal observation and my evaluator was impressed.

Description

These Character Dynamics Anchor Charts and/or note sheets can be used at any point during the school year. Use them to introduce or use it to review Flat and Round Characters & Static and Dynamic Characters. These anchor charts help answer the question what are flat and round characters and what are static and dynamic characters and how are they different.

I use them with my AP Lit. students and my English 11 students as we are going into greater depth on characterization near the middle of the year to re-introduce the topic of flat, round, static and dynamic characters in short story and/or novel study.

We used the anchor chart as notes (which we annotated together under the document camera) and then used it as reference for looking at character type analysis chart during our whole class short story and novel study.
