What educators are saying
Description
This humorous game begins by posing to students a number of 'Parent-Child Conflict' scenarios in which students are asked to make decisions from the point of view of a child. What students don't realize is that every conflict scenario is intended to be a direct analogy to a cause of the American Revolution. These analogies and connections are revealed to students after they complete the decision making game. By using analogies in a game-like format, students are able to better understand and remember the causes of the Revolution, as well as better empathize with the participants.
