Description
Use these cards to work on pragmatic language skills!
*The game Cranium Cariboo is not required to enjoy this download, but the cards are sized to fit into the game board slots*
This download includes the following:
(1) Cards for identifying appropriate vs. inappropriate social behaviors (24 cards) Each card contains a situation. The student reads the situation and decides if the behavior was social appropriate or inappropriate. If the student gets the correct answer, they open the door on the Cariboo game.
(2) Cards for Responding to Difficult Social Situations (24 cards) Each card contains a social situation (for example, your best friend tells your secret or you see some students vandalizing the bathroom at school). The student reads the situation and then describes what they would do in that situation. Then, they open the door on the Cariboo game.
(3) Feeling Cards (36 cards). Each card has an emotion on it (Jealous, Happy, Confused, etc.). You can either have students select a feeling card and state a time they have felt that way OR use the situation cards.
(4) Situation Cards (36 cards) Each card contains a description of what a person is doing and the student has to state how that person is probably feeling -- you can use the Feeling Cards with these Situation Cards
