This product includes over 450 theme and seasonal vocabulary cards that fit in the slots for the game Cariboo, but can be used in other ways even without the game (i.e. sensory bins or printed in black and white on colored paper for craft activities!).

Each themed set has a different color border, making it easy to differentiate which cards belong with each other.
TIME-SAVING TIP: Print on a weekly or monthly basis to prep just one or a few sets a time, versus all sets at once.
NOTE: All but one of the themes are picture cards. 1 of the 28 sets is text-based with visual supports (the "Getting To Know You" set included in the preview download), but can be used with non-readers if the SLP reads the questions for that set. The other 27 themed sets are all picture cards.
Each set only comes with the cards that go onto the game board, to allow you flexibility in how you want to use Cariboo (ie for WH questions, functions, receptive ID, inferencing, etc...). HOWEVER- If you would like a "draw" pile, simply print off 2 sets of each vocabulary set, and use one for the game board and one for the draw pile. Cariboo can be used for so many different learning targets!
