This College and Career Unit guides students through 10 individual lessons where they will explore and research possible careers and college opportunities that exist.
Students will learn the necessary life skills of comparing college prices, determining future salary, and will compare and contrast the future job growth of different industries and professions to make informed decisions about their life path. These are 21st Century skills and understandings students will need to have and know to be successful in the future. This unit will help provide context to much of the other curriculum taught in schools, and will help teachers make real world connections to actual college courses, jobs, and professions
