3-Part Classification cards that feature a variety of Black Individuals in different careers.
How to use the materials:
FlashCards (individual or small group)
• The child can name the career when presented with the card.
Matching Cards
• The child can use the control cards (card with picture & word) to match the correct picture card.
3-part Classification Cards:
•The child can match the word with the correct picture as well as use the control card (card with picture and word) to check his or her work.
Questions to ask:
When looking at the different featured careers on the cards you can expand your exploration by making it interactive. Using the cards for matching and classification is one way but having conversations with your child or students about what they see or know when looking at different careers is another way of engagement.

•What are they doing?
•Do you know anyone who is a/an________?
These questions are just a starting place for you to take a dive into learning more about these different careers. You can also pair these cards with different books about these careers.
