Are you a special educator who has to write a transition plan and have no idea where to start? Help the students on your special education caseload discover their career interests with this career interest inventory! With two pages of career interest survey and evaluations, this tool helps students easily match their interests with different types of careers. This product also includes career interest areas to help students evaluate their interests and discover specific careers they may be interested in.
To use, students simply read and choose the letter of the activities they would rather do. Then, they calculate the letters to find their top 2 or 3 career interest areas.
Students can evaluate their interest areas by highlighting specific careers they may be interested in, using the data for class selection and parent conferences. This career interest inventory is suitable for grades 6 and up and can be printed and used in the classroom. Please note that some students may need help reading and understanding the terms.
