This simple-to-use Career Exploration/Research Project can be used for ANY discipline in ANY classroom! Students are prompted to use the Occupational Outlook Handbook by the Bureau of Labor Statistics to complete the prompts in the career research graphic. Students will choose a career of interest.
A GREAT activity for a Career Exploration/Research (CTE) class...or any Business Education class! Also makes great classroom décor for Career Day.
The graphic prompts students to discover:
- Typical entry level education
- What they do in that position
- Job outlook
- Median pay
- Skills needed for that job
This activity can be printed out and completed with markers or colored pencils OR students can complete the file digitally and it can be printed out after completion!
After students complete the activity, I ask them to print out a picture of the occupation to complete the classroom display as pictured in the preview.
