Description
Canadian Explorer Trading Cards activity allows students to research and present, in a fun way, information about the explorers who had a hand in opening up North America, and especially Canada, to trade between First Nations and Europeans. Students create a 'Trading Card' similar to a 'Hockey Card' with a picture and statistics.Students are also asked to explore the relationship the explorer had with the First Nations people (exploitative or cooperative).
