Description

Grab this easy to use Scavenger Hunt! You will adore this Scavenger Hunt ALMOST as much as your students. This scavenger hunt includes four sets of Scavenger Hunt Cards or 32 questions. The Scavenger Hunt is split into four sets of task cards: Text Features, Inferencing, Main Idea, and Context Clues. Students read each text on the card and answer on their answer sheet. Each answer they choose correctly will give them a letter. After they hunt down all the letters for each set they will solve the riddle question.

You can decide if you want to teach a skill per day and hunt one set of cards per day to form a full camp week or you can do all four challenges in one day! Just print, cut in half, tape and you're good to go!

This Scavenger Hunt covers TEKS and Common Core Standards. It is appropriate for the needs of 5th grade students, however if you go to my page you can grab the third or fourth grade version as well.
