Calm Down Visuals for Autism, Special Education

Providing students with an opportunity to self regulate, the space to cool down & eliminating extra verbal attention during challenging behaviors (or when things are starting to escalate) is so important! This resource includes 4 different sets of calm down visuals: a classroom/wall sized set which includes strategies as well as visual prompts for appropriate language use and three types of student supports. Each set of student supports has 2 pages, these can be made into double sided cues OR placed on binder rings to be a flip book for the student.
