What educators are saying
Thank you. I am finding that many of my students don't know how to use a calendar! This is super helpful
There's not a lot of practice out there for calendar skills (not even in our math series), so I appreciate that you took the time to create this. The students had fun with it! Thank you!
Description
This calendar includes an editable version, so you can match it to the current year for your students. It also includes a version that does not correspond to any year in particular.
This calendar skills worksheet practice includes 12 worksheets to practice calendar skills with kids. An answer key is included for each worksheet as well. I created this product so that students could further their calendar skills. I feel that in school most children can identify the current date, days before the current date, and days after the current date. I feel that most students have trouble using a calendar in other ways.
Calendar skills that are included in each worksheet are:
-identifying how many days are in a month
-identifying what day of the week the month starts and ends on
-identifying what day of the week the month before ended on
-identifying what day of the week the month after will begin on
-identifying what the date is given information such as “First Monday in March” “Second Tuesday in February”
-identifying how many days during the month an activity will occur
-identifying how many days until something will occur
-identifying how many days ago something occurred
