Description

If you liked Derivatives Color by Number Version 1 (before the Chain Rule), you will love this one, too. This fun, engaging, challenging activity includes 14 questions on derivatives which include the chain rule.

Problems include trig functions, inverse trig functions, exponentials, radicals, quotients and logarithms (see preview for problems). Students find the value of the derivative at a particular point, match the numerical answer to a designated color, and then color in the pop art design. Difficulty levels are mixed. If desired, students can use their own color scheme. Directions included for color changing.

This can be used as a review, individually or with small groups. Great for a Sub Folder, too. Answer key included. You can also surprise your students on Pi-day with this fun activity.
