CVCE Silent e Phonics Worksheets and Interactive Word Work Activities

Use this CVCe interactive bundle to teach or review the magic e spelling pattern. You can pick and choose to meet the needs of your students or use these interactive pages to teach ALL of the CVCe long vowels. Each CVCe vowel includes four worksheets at various levels and includes the following activities:

1. Color it – Students trace or color words based on the CVCe word.

2. Find it – Students go on a word hunt (using classroom books) to find words with the CVCe spelling pattern. Students write the words in the frames.

3. Unscramble it – Students unscramble and discover words.

4. Roll it, Write it – Students roll a die and match the number to the word.

5. Sort it – Students cut and sort words based on the CVCe spelling pattern.

These interactive pages are sure to keep your students engaged and having fun!

*The first two interactive printables for each CVCe spelling pattern include words with only one syllable and simple blends. The second two printables (Gear Up) include multi-syllable words with digraphs and blends. It also reviews syllables as well as other spelling patterns for the vowel sound. I have also included a flap book to review and sort all patterns.
