Description

Sounding out CVC words is easy and fun with these CVC Word Building Cards! Each card has a picture on one side, and the corresponding word on the back - so they are self checking. There are 18 pictures for each short vowel sound, for a total of 90 cards - enough for your whole class to work on.

Pair these 2 sided cards with any alphabet manipulatives you have: letter tiles, stamps, stickers, beads, mini erasers, game pieces, dough stampers, etc., for hands on fun! Change out the manipulatives to make the activity feel new again, and encourage students to practice sounding out. Perfect for morning work, literacy centers, or stations.
