What educators are saying

This is a good review for subject verb agreement. I used it before the final test. My students enjoyed the activity.
I've used the CSI activities in math for years, but just began teaching ELA this year. Finding these was a godsend! Great review activity for the end of the year.

Description

Nothing like a good criminal investigation to liven up subject verb agreement! In this activity, students will work in teams to investigate the culprits of six fictional thefts. The criminal has made intentional mistakes in the text and left it in disarray. Students must discern correct from incorrect to preserve language arts forever! Teams will work to build a case and present their findings to the court. Hopefully, they are convincing enough to win the verdict to catch the criminal.

Be the cool teacher :-)
