Description

This challenge is one in a series of investigations that concentrates on forensic science and the process skills associated with pursuing such inquiries. This challenge will help students understand how and why scientists establish standards, as these benchmarks can be used to evaluate new information or predict the outcome of new investigations. Students should be made aware that accurate measurements are critical, and that averaging data is a necessity. This challenge can also be used to evaluate the reasonableness of data supported interpretations.
