COVID-19 Understanding the Exponential Spread of the Coronavirus

Looking at infection and death rates across the globe, we'll sift through the data and see if we can determine the facts about the spread of this pandemic. Students will be asked to consider possible exponential functions to model the spread of this virus and think of some ways to slow the spread.

This four page guided worksheet requires students to look up current data and use a graphing utility to build an exponential model. A guide to exponential regression on graphing calculators is provided.
