Use this resource to create your CKLA Skills Tricky Word wall in your second grade classroom! There are three versions available to best suit your needs. The first format contains a yellow border around the words for color printing. Throughout the units, you can use the green cards as you move some words from the Tricky Word Wall to the Green, Decodable Word Wall. There is also a black and white version included if you would rather print the cards on yellow and green copy paper.
The "tricky" parts of each word have been underlined and in some cases, separated by a dotted line to show where the sounds/spellings are split apart. There is also a small number in the corner of each card to represent the unit number in which the word is taught.
Print, laminate, and cut out each card to attach to your tricky word wall throughout the Skills lessons, as each new word is taught!
