It is everyone’s dream to some day own their own home. This activity is designed for middle school, junior high school, and beyond to introduce or review basic mathematical theory while preparing each student for Real World experiences.
The “Buying a Home” packet will explain the terms and concepts that each student will face when looking to purchase a home. Terms such as mortgage, closing costs, adjustable rate mortgage (ARM), and others will be discussed throughout each activity. Activities dealing with making payments and outstanding balances will improve each student’s skills and knowledge regarding buying a home.
