Description
Use this butterfly life cycle sequencing and writing activity to assess and/or review student learning about the butterfly life cycle. This activity requires students to sequence the steps of the life cycle and use their knowledge of sequence vocabulary to write about it.
Included in this set:
* A set of life cycle cards for students to color, cut, and sequence on a sentence strip or paper
* A writing guide checklist with butterfly vocabulary and sequence words to guide student writing about the butterfly life cycle
* A sheet of 3/4 inch lined butterfly themed paper
* A sheet of 1/2 inch lined butterfly themed paper
*A poster/visual/slide of transition/sequence word ideas and a mini-version of this {four per page} that students can glue in writing notebooks as a great reference tool
*A rubric for the final sequencing and writing project
