Unlock the entrepreneurial spirit within your students with this engaging Business Plan activity. This step-by-step activity empowers students to transform their creative ideas into fully-fledged business plans, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

While enrolled in a small business development course, I created a comprehensive, 40 page business plan. I have included excerpts from this plan to show students what to create for each section. Students will use these examples, activities and tips included in this presentation, and their own research, to complete their business plans. This is a summative activity that students can perform in Business classes, English classes or Marketing classes.

UPDATE: You will receive this activity in both a PDF and editable PowerPoint version.

UPDATE #2: Survey activities using Google Forms or Microsoft Forms have been added to this resource. Students create a 10 question survey about their product or service. Questions would involve the Marketing Mix (Product/Service, Place, Price and Promotion). They send the surveys to their classmates or potential customers and then analyze the results.
