What educators are saying

A great addition to my business ethics units allowing 8th graders to view this animated feature film through a new lense.
My students loved this assignment and it helped them to engage in the movie on a different level and relate it to the discussions in my business class.

Description

In this assignment your class will watch Pixar's Monsters Inc. and then write a paper answering questions about the movie in regards to unethical business behavior portrayed by the CEO of Monster's Inc. This is an assignment that I use after we have discussed ethical business behavior. It is a fun way for students to apply what they know about business ethics to a situation. I hand the paper out before the video and discuss what students should be on the lookout for during the movie to help them with the paper. You can also help students with a graphic organizer afterwards. There is also a bonus opportunity at the end for any student that can find another cartoon movie that displays a business principle we've learned.
