Description

Bump it up walls combine the importance of visible learning within the classroom with an easy way to track your students’ progress towards a specific learning intention in any subject area.

Creating learning goals and success criteria explicitly shows students what they need to know, understand or do as a result of a teaching unit and included learning experiences.

The purpose of the bump it up strategy is to create a display where students can visually track their learning progress. It also helps you keep track of where your students are up to.

But, where do you begin? I have developed this colourful bump it up wall to use a template. I have included work samples for 5 levels along with success criteria (with plain text and the text in coloured boxes as used in my Super Mario Wall).

I used this template in my own classroom, using a Super Mario theme. I have not included the Super Mario characters, however the ones displayed in my photo are from Google Images.

I also used Super Mario 256 font from Da Font to make my headings.

I hope you find this document useful.

Thanks
